Pastor Mike Sypult was born in Rogers, Arkansas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arkansas Tech University, a Master of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Pastor Mike came to Friendship in July 1999 as Associate Pastor\Worship Leader after having served as worship, youth and education ministers for several churches in Texas and Arkansas. Pastor Mike was called as Senior Pastor in 2006.
Pastor Mike and his wife Pam have five children: Stephanie, David, Daniel, Rebekah and Nathan. They currently reside in Rogers, Arkansas. Pam is a 7th grade teacher at Fayetteville Christian School. Stephanie is a senior at the University of Arkansas, David is a sophomore at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Daniel is a sophomore at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Rogers. Rebekah is a senior and Nathan is a freshman at Fayetteville Christian School.

There is no greater joy than joining with other believers in song, celebrating our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At Friendship we seek to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Our desire is to glorify God in our praise and worship as individuals and as a church family. Music is God's gift and we sing to Him. As Kirkegaard so beautifully stated, "in true worship we are the performers--God is the audience. Those who help us worship in unity are just the prompters."
Deanna Tannehill serves as office administrator at Friendship. Originally from Belle Plaine, Kansas, Deanna has been a resident of Northwest Arkansas for several years. Deanna also coordinates our High School ministries and puppet ministry.
